Mail Gifties

One of my bestest art buddies/ex-neighbor, YT sent me this!!!

She's been making dominoes like crazy lately and picking my brain via e-mails on what and why to do's... I think she's doing quite nicely don't you??

Then My SLACKERs in my Soldered House Swap FINALLY got their act together:
After, I soldered ALL their houses..for various reasons they couldn't bring
themselves to finish~
These Slackers, whom I love, shall remain nameless..but if you were in the swap~ you know who they are...btw, the mail out for that was MARCH 31st...

Now my Soldered House banner is complete...I'm in search of a place to photograph it..so hang tight, it will appear one day here for you to see the finished project~
Have a great weekend!!!

Wishing for some sunshine...

But it will come on it's own due time..as for now, I'll just keep puttering about the house. Trying to come up with a Good birthday prezzie for hub..it's Sunday..
Have a great Wednesday ya'll!

On the work table

In between doing 'life' I've been able to squeeze in some time at the work table. Here is what's currently in line to be soldered:

This is the sample of my Intermediate class at the Crafty Scrapper. We will have it sometime in July. I'm using black quite often in my work..wonder what's up with that? I do know I Like the 'pop' it brings to the vintage colors. In the class you will learn to bead solder and attach to pieces. The attachment will be strong enough for wearables. This piece is larger, like the one we will be doing in Paper Cowgirl. Gives you more solder area and a larger bit of collage.

This one I'm having a hard time letting go of it....

I've acquired a few Frozen Charlotte Dolls, I've been making little shrines for them to live out the rest of their lives in. This one is about 2 inches tall and the box is about 3" so it's substantial. I am going to suspend it from a tube of glitter. It's going to look very 'arty' when I'm done. These little shrines have been filling up my mind lately..but, now the muse has struck, and I'm wanting to paint again!!

This time BIG..paint on our Doors in the Shop Shack..you know, I painted one to look like the Texas Flag.

Well, this time I've got ideas for the door that leads into the shop from the house..you'll just have to wait to see..I've not started it yet, but it's gellin' in my mind, and from what I see so far, it's going to look super cool.. I'm so glad my hub likes me being 'arty' ....

We are headed to the flea this weekend. Maybe some cool finds and photos to show you next week!!

Have a great Weekend!!

Happy Monday!!

Look what we woke up to on Saturday!

I've wanted snow..all winter..and we got a tiny bit of it..that was it too..here today and gone today..

This is what I've been working on for a friend. I love this old photo. You can't tell here, but the shirt has been colored in Pink! I used pencils, colored the shirt and the road..The word Love came from an old typing book from the 30's..The back is cool too..but I'm saving that for her~

While the solder iron was hot, I finished up these little houses. They will go on Etsy soon..
This little banner was another thing I soldered up..It's tiny..

I've been on a bird kick too..
Don't forget our Paper Cowgirl blog Trail ride!! I'm posting my give-away tomorrow..so ride along with us for some Cowgirl fun!!
Have a super day!
