Friday rambles

Where did the week go?? This has been so nice to stay home and not have an appointment to be at. I know Hub enjoyed getting back into his work and being able to do something else, other than for me..

I sooooo didn't realize this cancer thing would just consume my whole life at this time..but it has. Who would have thought you can't even go get your teeth cleaned? I can't, my white count is down. No going to Wally or Hob Lob either right now..especially when this flu thing is going along here like it is.

The girls are coming to visit tonight and tomorrow, so that is a much welcomed diversion. As for daily diversions, I'm becoming a TV zombie, as I call it..watching way more than I ever have. But when your tired, what do you do? The creative spark has went to farther than in my head for now..but that even needs a break to sometimes, so, I'm ok with it..

I do want to thank everyone for the prayers, they are keeping me uplifted and going!!!! Thank YOU so MUCH!! I will never be able to tell you the full extent of my thanks..

Hope your weekend is super!
love and hugs, t

I hope you have a good weekend too Tina. I wish I could give you a big ole hug! I know what you mean about the cancer consuming your life. After my son's accident last year (he was critically burned), it completely took over our whole lives. When I did get a break, I'd think "But Clifton is getting a break" & then I'd feel guilty. :o(

Hang in there...this too shall pass.

It's great to see you here in blogland again and don't worry about people taking care of you. It's just your turn right now. I hope you have a terrific time with the girls.

Hi Tina,
Lesley of Flatwoods Folk Art let me know about your cancer journey. My heart and prayers go out to you. I so understand how cancer consumes your life with all the tests and needles, etc. etc. I finished chemo for Stage III Breast Cancer a couple of years ago. The only part of chemo I liked was meeting some wonderful folk, all fighters and full of strength. I posted about you today on my blog and added the chip in. My husband had critical brain surgery in May and again last week, and the blog world helped out. It is humbling and all, but really makes you feel loved and cared for. I pray the same for you.

If you get a chance, I would love your mailing address. You can send it to mosshill@volcano.net

Be Brave - Have Courage - And there is always HOPE! God bless you Tina!
