Where did the week go?? This has been so nice to stay home and not have an appointment to be at. I know Hub enjoyed getting back into his work and being able to do something else, other than for me..
I sooooo didn't realize this cancer thing would just consume my whole life at this time..but it has. Who would have thought you can't even go get your teeth cleaned? I can't, my white count is down. No going to Wally or Hob Lob either right now..especially when this flu thing is going along here like it is.
The girls are coming to visit tonight and tomorrow, so that is a much welcomed diversion. As for daily diversions, I'm becoming a TV zombie, as I call it..watching way more than I ever have. But when your tired, what do you do? The creative spark has went to farther than in my head for now..but that even needs a break to sometimes, so, I'm ok with it..
I do want to thank everyone for the prayers, they are keeping me uplifted and going!!!! Thank YOU so MUCH!! I will never be able to tell you the full extent of my thanks..
Hope your weekend is super!
love and hugs, t

Do you ever?
Get subtle messages?? While watching History channel last weekend. This episode about the Seven deadly sins came on. We watched the one about Sloth. Sometimes I think God is trying to get our attention. Those little pebbles; plink, plink, hit you in the head...it's God trying to tell you something he wants you to do or stop doing...Because, in the car on the way to College Station last Monday, 2 more times on two different shows, I heard things about the seven deadly sins and Sloth reared it's ugly head again! plink
On the trip home, I thought about all I'd heard, and decided something in that was meant for me.
Now to just figure it out...so today I kept busy around the house and in the studio and tried to stay off the computer too much until 'after hours'...maybe that's a habit I need to get into. This computer eats up your time rather quickly if all your doing is looking at other's blogs, etsy and such..I'd much rather have a few plinks of a pebble, than get hit upside the head with Brick from God, for I really think that's next, if you don't listen...
I'm trying..and today (Monday) was a good start, I felt like something got done and I was not wasting the whole day away..
Lord keep me strong for I am weak...
Have a great Tuesday!

Happy New Year
As this year comes to an end, we all start reflecting on the past year's memories, some to forget and some to remember..Then we look ahead to see what the new year might bring, or what we want it to become..then as always, the new year takes a mind of it's own and we just hang on for the ride..
I've planned a swap to start off my new year! I've invited 9 wonderful artists to join me. We are going to do a soldered house swap. My vision is to each have 10 houses to string together by some means, and make a banner from it. I've a few Tardy Tessies, that have not got their info back to me, so I can get a group email out. But that will come and all info will be distributed and we will began on a House Swap adventure!
So, stay tuned in the next couple of months for this swap to unfold and the end results are sure to be amazing! What a way to start the new year! With hopes of an amazing art piece!
Have a Safe and Happy New Year in your end of the world!

Happy Thanksgiving ya'll !

As we gather tomorrow at the table with family and friends. We remember Him and are thankful for all He's given us this past year: A son home from Iraq, a 3 yearold that likes to eat all the skin off the apple BEFORE you cut it up for her, a almost 6 year old who rides the hound out of her bikes, a beautiful daughter, a son-in law who keeps those girls happy, A husband who keeps me happy, a sister and her family, my mother, my in-laws and all our friends who pray for us, are happy with us and are sad with us..and our freedom in a wonderful country and many, many more things I can not list here..to all my friends whom I know in person and all my blog friends I just know from the 'net:
Happy Thanksgiving ya'll !
