Strawberry time

We drove down the road to Charlie, Texas. A little spot full of pecan orchards, peach orchards and a few pick your own farms. Young's is where we stopped at.

Getting started..Big Daddy showing them what to pick and how...
You have to scope out the place and find the BEST ones

Looking for that ripe one

Then when you find the good one, You EAT IT!!

And Eat,

And Eat....

This was one of 3 baskets full we picked that day

And Eat....

But every once and a while a sour one get's ya~
We ended up that day with over 10lbs of strawberries..that's just what we paid for..who knows how many we ate...The little one decided that picking them out of the basket was way easier than finding them on a plant, so she just started picking there instead..
We had a great time and made some great memories. I took over 200 photos of them and now it's hard to weed thru them and keep the best ones..but thought I'd share a few with you..
Have a great weekend!
See you Monday, t

Such beautiful heartwarming pictures. I used to live near a pick your own farm and I loved strawberry season - it's kind of a big deal here in SoCal. Oh I even love seeing the drips on the shirts - evidence of yummy sticky goodness from a perfect day with the family! Thanks for sharing!

What a great day you had with the Grands. Love your shrine necklace. The glitter bottle on the top really makes it. As for making my bed. I do. However, I usually leave before hubby in the morning and he never makes the bed. In 25 years of marriage I can count on 1 hand the time he has made the bed.

Love the sour face! We usually go picking every year in April for my husband's birthday but we missed it this year! Gotta go soon!! I have jam to make!
