It's in the Mail!!

Monday morning, while going thru my emails, I find a Cloth Paper Scissors email. It's about their Charm Swap, all the details and such..well that was a few weeks ago, and I'd let it slide. I looked at the calender, and had 14 more days before the deadline..At that moment, I decided I wanted to do it. (Can you say: MANIC ART MOMENT??)

Well, that sparked a whole creative frenzy...I first printed off French posters for drinks, that I had got someplace or another, then I decided it need to be something totally me. Then it hit me...

Those photos I took at Granger last week. So, that is what I did..first it was the gas pump. That didn't translate too well small and cropped close. Then I decided on the old metal chairs..perfect..don't you love that when it happens??? I added the word Texas to the bottom edge and called it good. Printed off 5 tiny sizes and went to work.

Cut my glass down to 1x 1 1/2 and cut out all the tiny photos. Then found an old Texas road map and found the Austin area and used that for the back side. I taped and soldered them. Shined them up as I watched Martha Stewart. Then package them all up nice and neat. Even added a bit on the back about the photo. Packed them up and today sent them on their way with plenty of time! I can't wait to see what I get back, I hope there good~

If you are in this swap I'd love to hear from you! Drop me a comment!!

Have a great THuRsDAy!
