YeeeHawwww

Hope your Friday is going well.

I hit the studio early this morning with hopes of working on my project for Paper Cowgirl but alas, these Cowgirls were calling to me..

I had cut some more MDF last night from hubs stash of leftovers and based them with that wonderful blue I had left over from a job last month..remember that bathroom update? Covered the edges with old book pages, then went to town on these..Glue on my fingers for sure this morning!!

Here's alittle tid-bit for ya: Sherwin Williams has colors to go for less than 5$ a quart, if you are in the want for some colors they make great backgrounds for your boards or canvases...I use my leftovers from job samples all the time for this~

We are working feverishly on the retreat, setting up classes and payment options..so, check in with our blog. Cindy is going to post some photos of the area and list some motels and such, soon. Mark your calenders for some great Paper Cowgirl fun!! We would love to see your there with glue on your fingers too !

Thanks for all your comments, I read them all :)

Have a great weekend!!

Hi Tina!
I really,REALLY LOVE the long, skinny cowgirl canvases! They are wonderful for working IN BETWEEN other things on the wall...or for a wall FULL of cowgirl fun! I think I'm working on just such a hootenany!

I'll keep reading/listening for the Paper Cowgirl announcements!

BLessings,
Paula Clare

Tina, you always give out the best tips! I used your idea of the cheapy Michael's canvases to make some cool wall art last week (giving you full credit, of course!) I love your idea of getting paint samples; they are definitely a good price.

BTW, I have given you an award on my blog today. The rulez say I have to let you know about it (there are too many rulez with awards these days, am I right?), so whatever you do, don't visit my blog unless you want to get stuck with this award! ROFL Seriously, though, I love your blog and always get such great ideas from it. Thanks for sharing!
